Okay, so you’re going to have to excuse my mini rant, but I’m so tired of seeing people hating on Gerard Butler. No one really knows what happened with him or what’s going on in his life. I have been a fan of his for years and I’ve gotten used to seeing the hate that people post about him. For some reason, he had become the target of people always talking shit about him and it severely bothers me. I don’t know what the guy did wrong, but he’s funny, he’s talented and he doesn’t deserve the hate that he gets. 

Nothing bothers me more than someone mocking him for reaching out for help. That is something to be admired. When people have a problem and they need help, they generally don’t ask for it. So I admire the guy for trying to make a difference in his life. It is something a lot of people can’t do. 

And call me what you want, but when things were really hard in my life, watching his movies would make me happy. Sometimes when people are so sad, something like that can help them. So in that view, Gerard Butler has been a very important part of my life and for that I will forever support him. For a large chunk of my life I have been a fan of his and I will forever be a fan of his. That’s the point of being a fan…supporting them no matter what. 

Remember, you can have all the money in the world and still be sad and lonely. Just because he’s a celebrity doesn’t mean he can’t be a human being like everyone else that makes mistakes.
