Not because he is/was, because that’s great, and I really want him to make a full recovery and be back to himself and be healthy.
But because he has a background of addiction (alcohol, anyone?) and I don’t want to see him fall back into that. And I hope the alcohol/cocaine rumors are false, because I would be upset to hear him say that it’s true, and then rewind a few weeks ago where he would publicly say on interviews that he’s been sober for ten years or what not. I think I trust him more than TMZ, but I just hope he’s alright.
What is it with celebrities I admire/enjoy ending up in rehab or clean turkey needing to sober up? Maybe that’s what makes them so admirable, is the fact that they can pick themselves up and go on with their lives.
It just makes it really sad when they relapse even the tiniest bit. So, Gerry. Listen. Be okay, because you have a lot of fans who want to make sure that we can go see lots of movies for lots of years.
